Over & Under La Luna
Home for the holidays and I wanted to share a piece of Miami with everyone. I decide to host a full moon party & toast to the divine light that lives in all my friends and family. I planned this party in 20 min...with a 3 hour window for guest to RSVP via text message.
The set up of the party was successful with the help of my mother & father who assisted in the party preparations. I had my mother going to 3 different stores to pick up party items while I was at a baby shower. As expected, it rained exactly at 7PM but the showers didn't last for long. Around 8:30PM we viewed the moon and kept the drinks flowing.
I wanted to see all my friends who I hadn't seen in months. Having a party was a great way to do that. I also needed everyone to know that 2016 will be a great year. Having this party was so rewarding.
Drink: "lemondade" & bubbles
Food: tomato basil salad, French baguette, hummus, strawberry & basil
Entertainment: full moon viewing, my mother's iPod + YouTube Alvin Ailey visuals.
