Creatives: 4th Floor Productions

In 4th Floor with Ross & George

What is 4th Floor? It’s an artist and production group with founders including Ross @rosspirelli & Eron @eron23

What regions are the 4th Floor team from? Cali, New Orleans, Chicago & Houston

What’s going on in the studio? In the studio with the man in charge Ross @rosspirelli IG. This day is devoted to George and they’re going to play some tracks and put some gibberish down to figure out what flow to achieve. Word of the day is create. That's what this space is dedicated to. Ross told me this upon my arrival to 4th Floor.
I hadn't see Ross in years. We attended the same middle school and had the exact same mutual friends through high school & college. When I got the invite to stop by, there was no doubt I would say no. Moments later I met George. This would be the talent in the session. He looked very cozy in his hoody and had the #beardgang swag. In this moment we would all listen to tracks produced by the 4th Floor team.

Artist in session: George Hill @YaBoiG_Hill IG

Moments: (This is where I piece together the session.)
-George’s possible first single Flavor – My initial thought is it sounds like it would be good in a film. As I’m listening, Ross and George engage in a playful fistfight. When I asked George if he was a singer or rapper, he kindly replied “I do everything”. Little did I know, he would show me some of everything he could do vocally, lyrically and as a creative.

-Next track I heard was Into You by Shalyric @shalyricsings IG. Then there was this one track that is ideal for a radio single. A can’t piece together all these lyrics but as I was sitting on the brown sofa, all I felt was this music is magical. Here are some words: “I feel it everyday kinda way”…”like we’re never coming down down down now”…"you wan fly high up in the sky”. Shalyric’s vocals slayed.

-I will say the qualities of these tracks are so strong they could be film scores. We absorbed the sounds of the incomplete tracks and played with them some. I must say I was impressed with the music. Some of it was still in the editing and mixing stages but I was thrilled nonetheless. Later on, I took a tour of the studio and made my way into a booth. The booth was equipped with essentials like a mic, headphones and other tech goodies I can't begin to name. At any rate, Ross is a crazy/funny, creative and ambitious guy. Then George is right there with the humor and creative focus. We laughed about Instagram, DMs and internet fun stuff in between the music.

Conclusion: Overall, if you know someone with a dream, assist him or her in a way that is suitable for both parties to benefit. We all need support, collaboration and creativity. I think Ross said this. Be sure to keep up with 4th Floor and come back for the link to George's music video & single.
