One Saturday morning, I was on Instagram scrolling through my timeline and @TheLittleSugars appears. In the appearance was a call to action "Come say hello!!", so I decided that I would do just that. On my way to Hollywood from Fort Lauderdale, there wasn't much traffic and it was easy to get to the shop. I walked in and was greeted by Sarah who is the owner of The Little Sugars. We had a brief chat about Instagram, her grandfather & childhood, design in the shop and what's coming soon (breakfast & lunch).
Anyone who knows me, knows I love sugar. However, I love it within reason. If I am consuming sugar, it has to be something freshly baked. For me, freshly baked calories are better than weeks old baked goods on a store shelf. I didn't hesitate when I ordered 2 classic chocolate chip cookies, 1 compost cookie, 1 triple chocolate cookie, 1 s'mores bar, 1 red velvet cake lollipop and 1 key lime tart.
